Research: Acinetobacter baumannii is an antimicrobial resistant opportunistic pathogen that causes severe nosocomial infections, representing a global threat to society. Determining the high-resolution structure of Superoxide Dismutase as well as exploring the motility and biofilm formation of A. baumannii can potentially reveal the molecular role that these play in antibiotic resistance.
